2024 Winter Wonderland Gala
On Thursday, December 5, 2024, we will be hosting our first annual Winter Wonderland Gala fundraiser, at Aspetuck Valley Country Club, 67 Old Redding Road, Weston, CT.
That evening, Aspetuck Valley Club, Fairfield County's premier country club, will be transformed into a magical, spectacular winter wonderland. Aspetuck's grounds will be specially decorated and the clubhouse's various rooms will be decorated in a unique holiday theme.
Dance under the bright Weston stars in the silver and gold room with music by DJ Mo, enjoy live music sung by a very special guest on the enclosed terrace, cozy up in the winter igloo village, enjoy pictures with Santa, decorate homemade cookies or gingerbread houses, and much more. There will be photo booths for you to strike a pose, silent auctions, and a special live auction, which includes a private dinner for you and 9 of our friends, designed and cooked by famed Executive Chef Gerard Clinton.
Chef Gerard has specially curated a menu of heavy appetizers, which includes a selection of tapas, flatbreads, charcuterie, sushi, sirloin bites, and desserts for the gala. He has spent many years working in acclaimed restaurants, such as Bertrand's, Park Ave Cafe, French Laundry, Cafe Boulud and Aureole. Most recently, he is the head chef at Aspetuck Valley Country Club.
With help from sponsors and donors like you, we will help raise needed funds for two organizations that are near and dear to our hearts, Share the Fun Project (www.sharethefunproject.org) and Jed Foundation (www.jedfoundation.org).
Share The Fun Project (STF) is a non-profit dedicated to giving opportunities to less fortunate kids. STF donates sports equipment, teaches them to play sports/cook meals for their families and friends, and takes underprivileged children on trips to amusement parks. Through your donations, STF helps provide opportunities to less fortunate children and helps them find a hobby that they love.
The Jed Foundation (JED) is a non-profit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults, giving them the skills and support they need to thrive today…and tomorrow.
We hope you can attend, donate or support us. Please reach out with questions to our chairpersons: Amy Jung or Dennis Jung at 203-689-7019 or sharethefunprojectct@gmail.com.
Please note that early bird pricing is guaranteed thru 11/30. On 12/1, prices increase.
With our sincerest gratitude,
Amy & Dennis Jung
